Sometimes, in life we find that special someone who will love us for
whom we are and what we can become; Robert A. Zink, Chief Adept of the
Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn found that someone in the summer of
1994. He met Rapheala Pulera when she was 17 years of age, although
she was young, they both saw past the prejudices imposed by societal
propriety and recognized within each other qualities, which transcend
the confines of age. When we find that true love, which enables us to
see past the exterior to love the inner person with that everlasting
love the poets have written of through the ages; we must have the
courage to claim it, even when we know we will be criticized. Robert
and Rapheala have endured ridicule and contempt for simply loving each
other, sharing their lives and raising a family.
It would be pointless to belabor the subject of what age does or does
not constitute adulthood, since society’s standards change from
era to era; it was not long ago that Loretta Lynn was married at age
13 and Elvis Presley dated 14-year-old Priscilla Ann Beaulieu; it
would suffice to say that today’s standards are somewhat
different than in times past. They were both consenting adults when
their relationship began and it is rudely intrusive that the willfully
misinformed insist on publicly voicing their negative opinions
regarding what they share.
It is true what they say: that we each view the world from our own
perspective. When a heart is filled with darkness, those eyes can only
see evil wherever they look. There are those who are determined to
find something sinister in people’s private relationships, and
in the good work many attempt to accomplish. It is too bad, really,
that we are nearly 60 years beyond the death of Adolph Hitler and
there are still individuals that insist on viewing the world from the
Nazi perspective. Worse still, there are those who are using the
Golden Dawn system to propagate Nazi philosophy. In the tradition of
Joseph Goebbels, someone has posted lies and fabrications on David
Griffin’s web page concerning Robert Zink and Chic Cicero; they
have even distorted the facts concerning Robert’s and
Rapheala’s private, consenting relationship and have claimed
that we in the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn practice blood
sacrifices. Additionally, there were displayed many outright
fabrications regarding the details of Chic’s licensing agreement
with David Griffin.
Expressing the claim that the practice of blood sacrifice is
categorically false, which it is by the way, would be pointless since
this practice has never been within the corpus of Golden Dawn
tradition, and we strictly adhere to the teaching handed down through
Mathers in the Z documents and the Cipher manuscripts. Those making
this claim have not made it because anyone believes it to be true,
what they are trying to accomplish is known as propaganda; this is a
tool used with surgical skill by the Nazi party during Hitler’s
tenure as Fuehrer of Germany. Joseph Goebbels and others propagated
numerous claims concerning the Jews and other minorities to incite
Germans to hate them, so none would protest when they were
exterminated. David Griffin, a confirmed Nazi, is using this proven
method to conquer the Golden Dawn community; he will spread propaganda
to incite hatred toward any whom oppose him, thus enabling him to
exterminate rival groups. David Griffin’s ultimate goal is a
matter of speculation, but those personally familiar with him have
described him as a megalomaniac, this is how Adolph Hitler was also
described by those whom knew him; the well informed say that the
similarity between the two is uncanny. If he continues in this
pattern, he will conquer the occult community today, and then
tomorrow, the world.
We in the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn hope that sincere students
of the Western Mysteries will not be duped by David Griffin’s
propaganda machine. It is truly tragic when eager students are
diverted from the pure teaching offered by groups, which adhere to
true Golden Dawn curriculum as handed down through Mathers in the Z
documents and the Cipher manuscripts, a safe and proven path to the
mysteries. Only to be subjected to the callous, irresponsible,
power-grabbing hate mongers that adhere to Nazi philosophy and
arrogantly teach completely fabricated grade material of their own
invention for purposes, which at the very least can be described as
disturbing.
