The children learned language from their parents and presumably cultural
beliefs such as god and angels. Is there not some kind of indirect
prompting
going on there as with 'clever Hans' the horse who was for a time believed
to understand spoken language which he seemed able to react to and be able
to do simple tasks but it turned out on further investigation that he was
instead reacting to the subconcious body language of his trainer?
