persuaded to view them with contempt. The movie is set in fifties
communist Russia, but that is a thin sleight of hand, 13 year olds
don't think in terms of communist Russia/Nationalist Russia, the
essential message is the same - "There is something scary about white
christian Russia."

It's funny since the Soviet Union was their creation. Putin must be
doing some thing right. Also, historically, as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
details, Jews and Russians haven't been friends. Jews were behind the
communist takeover of Russia and the deposing of the czar. The true
lesson is that "communism versus capitalism" wasn't the real deal:
Jews versus gentiles was.
