This is the truth of the gospel
that the Lord uses to save people.
And it is the same truth
that the Protestants originally believed.
It is the core of the gospel:
Christ is our entire righteousness for salvation.
Because he took our place on the cross,
he is righteous for us.
We are considered to be righteous
because our trust for salvation is fully in Christ
to be our Righteous Substitute.
Because he is righteous for us
we have eternal life.
