How do we stand in this day and time?
Only by the goodness, kindness and mercies of God do I walk in faith
today.
I found Christ at the age of 17 because the Lord kept working in my life,
bringing me back around to the truth about my sin and His grace. I
stumbled
and fell from a living faith just 14 years later, thinking that I was
finished with Christ.
But God was hardly finished with me. He allowed me to examine all the
popular alternatives to Christian faith, looking for a better set of
answers. I spent a lot of money and time looking into all kinds of
garbage.
And I discovered that all the other ways of seeing the world and
spirituality, beliefs and unbelief, were in fact garbage.
The Bible stands as the only logical truth in a world driven mad with
ideas
and information. Human ideas and doctrines of demons literally abound on
this planet. But who has the words of truth? Only Jesus Christ. Where
do
we find real healing from human sin and stupidity? Only in Jesus Christ.
God has never forsaken me or left me on my own, not even when I willingly
turned away from Him. In His grace I have always remained, and by that
grace, I am His today.
If ever God turned His back on human beings, we would immediately know
what
hell really is. As it is, even on the worst day, we are all surrounded by
God's kindnesses and mercies. How much more this holds true for those who
have bowed the knee to Jesus. He never forgets His own, never forsakes
those who have dared to hope in Him, and never leaves lost sheep behind.
Not ever. Not in this age or in any age to come.
