Thanks for praying. We bought an ultra-sonic device that goes
off automatically, when the dog barks. It has helped reduce
the amount of barking, but, as the manufacturer claims,
nothing will stop "instinctive", or "protective" barking.
The reason I don't want to say anything to the owner of the
dog, is because they live right next door, and the last time
we asked a next-door neighbor to stop smoking (even though we
took pains to word it carefully), it resulted in an escalating
confrontation, which was the major contributing factor to my
wife's initial breakdown.

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with
all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert
and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Christ died for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead.
Rely on this work alone to escape hell and receive eternal
life (Jn. 3:16; 1 Cor. 15:1-3; Eph. 2:8-10; 2 Thess. 1:8-9).
