Simple. Because we are freak mammals. All animals kill,
only the human one kills for the fun of it due to the warped
brain that the evolutionary process managed to provide him with.
Some get a kick out of killing, others are very content to
spend a life time helping the under privileged, others spend
a life time trying to perpetuate imaginary gods.
It all results from the need for 'gratification' - the
driving force of evolution
