Err, here in UK we don't have Congressmen, nor a Senate, nor a
Republican party (at least, not one that has any representatives in
the legislature)

Err, here in UK most of us know very little about Florida politics, so
I'm not sure why we are being asked about those who are active in
Florida politics.
I'm not saying I have no interest in events and people outside UK, and
the Foley saga was variously worrying, intriguing, amusing and tragic,
but simply offering news from America is unlikely to generate much
useful response from uk.rec.naturist? When posts from a specific
poster become predominantly irrelevant or uninteresting to a reader,
and that poster is or becomes prolific, the chances of the reader
kill-filing that poster increase.
