THOUGHTS AND VOICES IN VIRTUAL REALITY
Hello,
My name is Kathleen Stinson, I'm a psychologist in clinical training, and
I'
m carrying out research at Kings College London. The aim of the research
is
to learn more about thoughts and voices using virtual reality. I would
like
to invite people who hear voices at least once a day to take part in the
research.
If you are interested, I would give you a ring to have a chat about what's
involved, and if it's appropriate, you'd then be invited to Kings College
London. This would involve a short interview, a few questionnaires and a
virtual reality component (a computer-generated world in which you can
walk
around). Any information you give will be strictly confidential and kept
in
accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, and used only by members of
the research team.
Participation in the research would take 1½ hours, for which you would be
