KJV, "the best English Bible" but not perfect
The Bible is translated to many languages. Why would KJV
be the only perfect translation?
The worst translation error I have found in KJV, and in other
English Bible translations, is the using of the word "church"
for God's people. We can understand of 1 Cor. 12:12-30 that
the Body of Christ (the Assembly of God) is a living organism,
and not any organized movement. It is an essential difference
between a living organism and an organized church system.
The Bible says nothing about free churches or denominations.
In the reality, the word "church" occurs not at all in the Bible.
The biblical name of the Church is the great whore, and
Babylon the great. I have five (5) Bible translations in Swedish,
(the oldest from 1703). Nowhere in these Bibles does the word
"church" (kyrka) occur.
The Swedish Bible from 1703 is translated from the same
original bible text as KJV.
I have also a reference book where the New Testament is
translated word by word from Greek to Swedish. Everywhere
they translate the Greek word "ekklesia" to församling (assembly).
In Col. 1:18 (KJV) we can read: "And he (Christ) is the head
of the body, the church ..." And in Eph. 5:23-24, "For the
husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of
the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the
church is subject unto Christ..."
This is a lie! The Church is not subjected unto Christ. The
head of the Church is the pope, the black pope, and the devil.
The Bible translators do not make a difference between God's
true people and Satan's Church. From the Church's deeds we
shall know the Church. Matt. 7:15-20. By their fruit we shall
recognize the false priesthood. The Catholic Church has
persecuted, tortured and murdered many millions of Christians.
This is a well-known fact. How could a good tree bear such an
evil fruit? If we use the same name "church" on the murderer as
on the victims for the murderer, how then can we know what
that means when someone says "church"?
KJ3 is a better translation. "And He is the Head of the body,
the Assembly..." Col. 1:18. And Eph. 5:23-24. "... because a
husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is Head of the
Assembly, and He is Savior of the body. But even as the
Assembly is subject to Christ..."
Why then did the Bible translators use the same word "church"
also for God's people, the Body of Christ? Why did not they
see the difference between the murderer and the victims for
the murderer? The first Christians were no church. Calling
the first Christians "the first church" is a grave insult against
these Christians. The Church is a mass murderer. The devil
is the real church father.
During many years the Swedish Bible of 1917 has been the
most used Bible in Sweden. Nowhere in this Bible we can
find the word "kyrka" (church) or the word "samfund"
(denomination). Yet, people believe that the churches and
denominations are from God. Now they have printed a new
Swedish bible, "Bibel 2000". It is a grave falsification of the
Bible, with "kyrka" instead of "församling" (assembly).
I would never give such a bible to anyone.
There are also other translation errors in the KJV version of
the Bible. In Eph. 1:5 we can read: "... to Himself predestinating
us to adoption through Jesus Christ according to the good
pleasure of His will ..."
The new birth is no adoption. If the new birth is an adoption,
then God's children are not his own children, only adopted
children. Then God is not our Father, only our adoptive Father.
Who is our real Father? In Swedish we have also the word
'adoption', but it does not occur in the Bible.
In 2 Cor. 5:20 we can read: "Then on behalf of Christ, we
are ambassadors, as God is exhorting through us, we beseech
on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God."
It is not correct. This world has not acknowledge the kingdom
of God and there is no diplomatic connection between the
world and the kingdom of God. Anyone who chooses to be a
friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. James 4:4.
Accordingly, the apostles were no ambassadors and they did
not appear as ambassadors. For the apostles and for all
Christians this world is a hostile country and we have no
Christian embassy here.
