This isn't a matter of salvation by works. It is a matter of
rewards for our works.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest
any man should boast. 10 For we are his workman****p, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that
we should walk in them.
Matt 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his
Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man
according to his works.
There are two issues we must be concerned with...salvation and
rewards. Salvation is of prime im****tance. Without salvation
nothing else matters. But once our salvation is secure we should
concern ourselves with doing His works and earning rewards.
Yes, there will be a social gradient in Heaven. Some who are
great on earth will be least in Heaven and some who are least on
earth will be great in Heaven...in accordance with their works.
