as in Peter's case, and all others whom God has graced with
salvation unto eternal life, no ceremony, such as water baptism,
Papist Conformation, First Communion, Papist Confession, Adventist
gradual salvation by following Ellen and the 10 Commandments, or any
other such man made idea, is how salvation unto eternal life is
explained in the Bible.
salvation unto eternal life is immediate. Acts 13:48
being translated from bondage to Satan, sin and death and into the
kingdom of His dear Son was not a life long process as some would tell
us. they " immediately left their nets, and followed Him "
( Mt. 4:20 ) why ? because at that moment they were given eternal
life by the grace of God. they then were of the spirit to follow the
Savior, of which they were not before that moment.
" all that the Father gives Me shall come to Me " is only possible
from the moment God elects someone unto eternal life. no ceremony of
any kind. no speaking in tongues... " as many as had been appointed to
eternal life, believed. " Acts 13:48
just as the 4 Bible men God saved as fetuses, man's will in the
matter is not even part of the salvation God provides. it is not grace
when one must be good first, in order to merit grace, though it is the
boast of some. just as it is the boast of some to say how their
following the 10 Commandments got them saved over time.
salvation unto eternal life is an irrevocable one time event
( Ro. 11:29; Ps. 65:4 ) by appointment only ( Acts 13:48 ) simply
because it is the good pleasure of God, the Giver of life, to give to
Christ Jesus a people unto His own name. Eph. 1:3-14; 2:1-9
Lazarus didn't come out of the grave piece by piece but was given
life by God to come forth at the moment he was called by God. so too,
do the elect come forth from among the spiritually dead, by being
given life from God.
it wasn't water baptism, ceremonies, confession, communion nor
following the 10 Commandments ( to the exclusion of all the rest )
that brought Lazarus out of the grave. neither did anyone like Ellen
G. White, nor a Pope, nor a stage Evangelist, nor some sinner's
prayer, nor making a decision for Christ... all of man's ways to
eternal life... bring Lazarus out of the grave.
