I guess you are not that familiar with the Usenet.

According to the wisdom of the Usenet gurus,
you are supposed to set the followup-to header
as much as possible.
My newsreader almost forces me to do so.
It's not even easy to set it to two newsgroups.

There is no need to be worried about people
in the newsgroups you are not even subscribed to.
If you want to crosspost to others newsgroups,
feel free to do so.
